A scorer of two goals in Valencia CF’s final preseason friendly, Kang In was more pleased with the performance of the team, one week out from the start of the LaLiga season.
“We're happy to have taken the win ahead of a very important season. I think that we are working rather well. The coaching staff are very demanding of us, and the players are really up for it. We're looking forward to starting the LaLiga season and having a good campaign,” he told VCF Media.
“I think that these preseason games have helped us for the upcoming competition. We are going to give everything through to the final minute of the final game, so that we can take the three points in every match.”
The South Korean star struck twice in the second half, and has been singled out as a player to watch in the league next season. However, he believes that his teammates are also at a high level at this stage of the summer.
“It's thanks to the team, who ran a lot, right through to the end. More than the goal, the most important thing is how the team are doing. I think that we're looking very good; we want to continue like that and do more every day.”
“It's very important to feel good physically and have a good rhythm going. I think that this has come from our preseason training. It's been good and has helped us a lot. It's not just me; I think that everybody is in good shape. I think that we are well prepared to compete well in LaLiga,” said the VCF Academy product.
